The LONGEST road trip of my life. We packed up the potato boxes in June and took our apartment's stuff to our new house in Tennessee. Dallas checked in at Fort Campbell, then we headed to Idaho to pick up the rest of our stuff that we left in storage.
We even picked up an extra kid in Clarksville, our oldest nephew Dawson. He's such an awesome boy, it was great to spend a few days with him. He was so polite and helpful with the girls. I tried to talk his mom into letting us keep him, but she said she wanted him back :)
Driving through St. Louis
Driving across Wyoming is a test in patience. With the exception of a few little towns, most of Wyoming is just desolation. I HATE it!
Our faithful driver.
We finally got to see our puppy!
Oaklie LOVES birds. Every time she would see a bird outside she would start chasing it and say, "Mere buddy! Mere!" (come here birdy) She got to hold a baby chick at Grandma Abrams' house and decided it wasn't all that exciting.
Isn't this the cutest cousin picture? Amaya, Cannon, Oaklie, Ellie, and Kota
While we were in Idaho, we traded my baby...
For a more fuel efficient vehicle. It still miss it!
After we got to Idaho and loaded the truck, we headed down to Bear Lake for the Abrams Family Reunion. Dallas had to head back to Fort Campbell and get to work, but the girls and I stayed for a few more weeks out West.
They had a big blow up toy that basically babysat the kids for three days. It was awesome.
This is where I planted my butt all weekend
Amaya crossed going in a boat off her bucket list. She was so excited!
Ellie and Amaya. Dallas' cousin knitted a bunch of these hats for the family.
Oaklie had so much fun she fell asleep in her dinner.
We went and visited my Grandma Clark one day. My Grandma Breedlove, who died when I was little, gave these figurines to my Grandma Clark, and she gave them to me. She is such a sweet lady!
Amaya and Oaklie had so much fun at the tea party Grandma set up for them.
Grandma Abrams put on a princess slumber party for all the girl cousins. We had a blast!
Amaya and Oaklie are spoiled because they have so many girl cousins their age.
My dad was nice enough to head up to Washington with me to see my sister and her family.
Driving through Montana there were so many bugs it sounded like it was raining.
This cute little chunk has almost doubled in size since we saw him last. He is the sweetest baby!
She's proud that she figured out how to put her shoes on and still wear her sandals.
Of course little sister needed to copy
This little girl LOVES babies!
We had a fun day at the Spokane Children's Museum.
Kory and Pax
The girls and Grandpa Clark
These guys thought this was hilarious.
They had so much fun playing with Pax!
This picture pretty much sums up the weekend. Amaya and Oaklie mauling Paxton.
I'm SO MAD I didn't get a picture of me and Hailey at the Spokane Temple, but we left the kiddos back with my dad and Kory one night and had a girls night out. We sure miss these guys!
