I finally crossed something off my to-do list. I've been wanting to make a video of the year Dallas was in Iraq and I finally finished it. It was so fun to see old pictures and videos of the girls. It's cool to see the time passing; Amaya and Oaklie getting older, my hair growing longer (if you watch closely you can see me lose the baby weight! haha). If you follow my blog, you've probably seen all of these pictures, but I still thought it was pretty cool.
Warning: this video is about 15 minutes long.

Dallas' Marathon
So last week my husband crossed something BIG off his bucket list--He ran a marathon! That's 26.2 miles baby! I am so proud of him!
Waiting with Grandma for Dad to cross the finish line.
Here he is....Poor guy looked like he was about to drop dead. I would've looked a lot worse if I'd spent the last 4 hours running from Shelley to Idaho Falls.
Dallas' friend Tyson and his wife ran the 10k
I am crazy proud of Dallas for running his marathon. It a lot of training and A LOT of dedication. What a guy!
July Summer Fun Part 2
Enjoying their suckers in the wagon on a nice day. Amaya and Oaklie got this wagon from their grandparents for their birthday.
I love our housing complex because we have fun toys only a short walk away!
This little girl has a gift for getting messy during meals.
A couple of weeks ago we went to the zoo with some friends. My camera died, so I only got a few pictures.
Oaklie, Amaya, and Ryker
I remember drinking out of this fountain when I was little!
When we were here at the play land, Oaklie was chomping away at something. I pulled someone else's USED GUM out of her mouth. Sick, sick sick.
We went to the lake again.
(I promise I take pictures of them with their other cousins. My sister-in-laws on the Abrams side don't keep blogs so I try not to post pictures of their kids)
Cousins
Hailey and Pax (Hailey's boyfriend is in the background)
Getting ready for the splash park.
She's our little poser for the camera
And she's our little cheeze whiz
It has been a HOT week. Yesterday we got our kiddy pool out and spent some time in the sun. It doesn't feel like we've done too much swimming this year, but when I look at pictures it seems like that's all we do!
I think this photo is the epitome of summertime
I love this picture because you can see the water spraying out of Amaya's nose :)
Love my little girls!
Oaklie had a mini-freak out when she saw a ladybug in this bucket. "BOG! BOG!" It was pretty funny.
I hope the rest of our summer is as fun as the first two months have been!
Happy Birthday Amaya!
Where did the time go? My baby girl is "FREE!"
Waiting for the party-goers to show up.
Amaya decided that she wanted a "Tangled" cake. (No, I did not make that. I wish!)
I can't believe how big she is!
Amaya got her very own Rapunzel doll. She calls her "Taneled" :)
Amaya,
My goodness, I can't believe you are already three! Even though you always remind me that you are a "big girl", you will always be my baby girl :) It is so fun to watch you learn and grow and watch your personality bloom. You are such a kind, sweet girl. You are a little mommy at our house and make sure everyone is happy and doing okay--including mom and dad. Thank you for taking such good care of me and your sister and helping your dad when I was sick. You have such perfect faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus. I love to hear you pray and I love when you tell me what you learned about at nursery and sing Primary songs. You are a wonderful sister to Oaklie and always try to include her and help her learn new things. Thank you for being a good example to her and everyone around you. We love you so much and are so happy we get to be your parents!
Love,
Mom and Dad
