We're Here!
Just arrived in Houston yesterday afternoon after a brief trip to Big Sandy, Texas. I love it, the weather is so nice and our apartments are fantastic. Our internet gets hooked up this weekend so I'll post some fun pictures! In the meantime, I'm procrastinating my homework in the clubhouse at San Cierra. :)

Viva Las Vegas!
Dallas and I just got back from Las Vegas and we had a blast! We didn't take a whole lot of pictures because photography wasn't allowed inside the shows and we were too lazy to take pictures outside the theaters.
The hotel we stayed at was a giant castle.
Monday night we went and saw "The Lion King". It was such a fun show and the costumes were so cool.
Holding Timon and Pumba dolls at the gift shop. Only $20 each!
Tuesday we went to a dinner show called "The Tournament of Kings" at our hotel.
We sat in this giant arena and watched the show, which was tons of fun. We drank soda out of big jugs and our food was brought out on a big platter--a big cornish hen and vegetables. They don't give you utensils so everyone eats with their hands while we watch a giant jousting match with horses and the like. It was so cool!
Wednesday we walked the strip (Las Vegas is such a dirty place) and saw the sights.
You can see the Eiffel Tower in the background here.
Friday night we went and saw "PHANTOM!"
It was amazing. We splurged and got great seats right under the chandelier that the Phantom swings from. It was so awesome!
Our sneaky Phantom photo under the chandelier.
Thursday we got massages at the spa at our hotel. Dallas is so funny, he'd never admit it but he loves to be pampered!
Although Las Vegas was tons of fun, I was very anxious to get home and see this silly girl:
Monday morning after a quick trip to Leavitt Women's Healthcare we will be leaving on our grand adventure to Houston!

It's a . . .
Pregnancy Tickers from WiddlyTinks.com
We're having another bouncing baby girl! We're so excited! So far she is healthy and everything looks great. It will be tons of fun to have two little girls so close in age and I won't even need to buy anything for the baby. :) I was totally surprised because I thought FOR SURE we were having a boy but Dallas says he knew all along. Now that we know it's a girl I can't wait to meet her!
Oaklie Abrams (still no word on the middle name)
I've got to say, this is probably the coolest ultrasound I've ever had, because I could actually tell what was going on. Above is her facial profile with her two little fists. Apparently she's going to be a little wiggle worm like Amaya because she wouldn't hold still! It took forever for the ultrasound tech to see everything!

Easter!
Let me just start by saying that I love Easter. Definately more than Christmas. It's such a fun spring holiday and it's so focused around Christ, I just love it. Last Easter Dallas was away at training, I was staying with my parents and pregnant with Amaya and it wasn't a very fun Easter, but we had a blast this year watching General Conference and celebrating.
The Easter Bunny arrived! Remember the baskets from here?

Amaya caught going through her loot
Couldn't get a smile out of her because she was so busy eating her sucker. Poor girl was so sticky I probably could have thrown her against the wall and she would have stuck.
Decorating Easter eggs
I'd never done it before but I must say I'm pretty impressed with myself.
Amaya's Easter Dress
There's lots of craziness going on in our lives right now. We're moving, and it's a mess. I HATE moving. Wednesday we find out if we're having a little boy or girl (YAY!) and next week Dallas and I will be in Las Vegas! while Amaya hangs out with her Grandpa and Grandma Clark.
The following week we will make the grand trek down to Texas. Remember how I told you that we were going to Sacramento? Then I said, just kidding, it's Fort Worth? Well, surprise, surprise, they told us last week it's actually Houston. For now at least. :) Not only do they have a pool, but they also have a splash park, and a playground! It's going to be so fun!
On the way down we're planning on swinging by Big Sandy, Texas to visit my Grandpa and Grandma Breedlove and with any luck Dallas will shoot himself a wild hog!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter celebrating the resurrection of our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ.

Soon to be (temporary) Texans
Normally I don't like to post unless I have pictures to put up because that's my favorite thing about blog stalking others, but I lost the battery charger to our camera, so, sorry amaya! no pictures of you at seven months! Hopefully it turns up. Anyway, I decided to post because there are actually more people who read this than I thought. :)
Only 4 1/2 weeks until we move to Fort Worth, TEXAS for the summer. I'm super excited, because the apartment we'll be at has this pool:
Couple of milestones I have no pictures or videos to mark:

Yes I'll be swimming in that every day, even though I'll be so pregnant I could be mistaken as Shamu in the water. I'm absolutely ecstatic about swimming this summer, so excited that I already bought Amaya a darling yellow swimsuit.
Also, the day we leave is also the day we find out if the peanut is a girl or boy. If I was a betting woman I would put $200 on the baby being a boy, more if I had it. :)Couple of milestones I have no pictures or videos to mark:
- Amaya has been army crawling for about 6 weeks now. Dallas is so proud she's following in his footsteps.
- Two teeth have appeared on Amaya's gumline, perfect for destroying DVD cases and biting me when I try and dig out of her mouth whatever she picked up off the kitchen floor.
- Also, she sleeps facedown and keeps getting her head smashed in the corner of the crib during naptime. I seriously think she's dead everytime I walk in.
